Jesus was in His native place;
And there began to teach.
The people took offense at Him,
Rejected what He preached.
Is this not the Carpenter?
Is this not Mary’s son?
They couldn’t recognize the Lord,
the sole begotten One.
A prophet has no honor
From among His own kin.
Without faith in Jesus Christ,
No healing can begin.
Before we can see miracles,
We must have faith in Christ,
Lord, grant to us a faith that’s strong.
For us, You paid the price.
May we trust that You will heal us,
Heal us and those we love.
May we trust the Holy Spirit,
To descend like a dove.
We pray for healing of our loved ones;
For new hearts—clean and pure,
That all may see You as You are;
Grant to loved ones a cure.
Cure us of all brokenness.
Cure loved ones from confusion.
Help them now to see the truth.
Free them from delusion.
May they rest freely in the truth.
With grace from up above,
May they rest in Your loving arms.
Abiding in Your love.
