I asked You and You would not listen.
So I asked my God and He did listen.

Jesus, we know you’re listening,
You hear our prayers and cries,
For our loved ones who seem lost,
Deceived by Satan’s lies.

They do not listen, Jesus,
To the caring words we say.
But You LORD hear our every word,
When we bow down to pray.

Go now to our loved ones LORD,
Fill their souls with Your Spirit.
Guide them toward Your Holy Word,
Help them rejoice to hear it.

Take them gently by the hand,
May Your love in their hearts reign.
Reveal Yourself as loving King.
Free all from Satan’s chains.

Inspire them to love You.
For You so love the lost.
Let them know the price You paid.
Your crucifixion was the cost.

Go to them now LORD Jesus,
Show each soul the battle won.
May they see You as their Savior.
To You, may each soul run.

St. Scholastica, You who turned to God for what you needed, pray for us.
