“If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.”

We pray that we be last of all,
True servants of Jesus Christ.
LORD, help us offer our lives,
As Yours was sacrificed.

Handed over to be killed,
Crucified were You.
You surrendered Your life for us.
We surrender our lives too.

May our loved ones be received
By You on this day,
Through someone in Your Holy Name,
That truth may come their way.

Send them a faithful servant,
To guide them in ways pure.
That they may love Your holy Word,
In Your Word be secure.

Then may each son and daughter,
Go forth in boldness too,
To bring Your Word to others,
Bring wayward souls back to You.

Hear this prayer, LORD Jesus,
Give strength to weary hearts.
We come to You as servants,
From us, do not depart.

But use us now, LORD Jesus,
That we may we give glory to Thee,
That souls may dwell in love today,
And for all eternity.
