Give us humble hearts, O God,
Hearts humble and true.
We know that every humble heart,
Will not be spurned by You.

Give to our loved ones, humble hearts,
Hearts contrite and pure.
That they may seek Your holy ways,
And You alone adore.

Give to us true and humble hearts,
All pride may we resist,
For only in humility
Can we see You in our midst.

Only from humility,
Can we see You as our Guide.
May we and all our loved ones, Lord,
In humility abide.
