We give thanks to You, O Lord. Salvation is now given.
From scourging, mighty blows and death, in triumph, You have risen.
We give thanks to You, O Lord; Your mercy will endure.
We give thanks to You, O Lord. You opened wide salvation’s door.

In You we find our strength. We shout now with victory.
Our courage and our hope are found alone in Thee.
We shall not die, but live. Your right hand has struck with power.
We declare Your mighty works, O Lord. We declare them at this hour.

Chastised a little, we may be. Yet we are delivered too.
The gates of heaven opened now, for those who follow You.
We thank You now, O Lord; You have dealt with us in favor,
From slavery, You rescued us.  Freed from sin by You, our Savior.

Go now, O Lord, to those we love. Set them too free in truth.
Release the chains by which they’re bound, held captive from their youth.
Open their hearts to purity.  Give to them fresh springs of living water.
Open now to Your truth the mind of each son and of each daughter.
