“Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.”  (Matt. 5:8)

Grant us, and our loved ones, clean hearts, O Lord, hearts that are good and true.
Grant us and our loved ones pure hearts, hearts that give glory to You.
Help us abandon ourselves, O Lord, to all that You call us to do.
Give to us hearts that are pure, with thoughts of all that is true.

Only with hearts that are clean, O Lord, and only with hearts that are pure.
Can we begin to love You, with a love that will always endure.
So, bless us with hearts that are pleasing to You.  Bless us with hearts that are clean.
That we may begin to see clearly, that Your truth, by us all, will be seen.
