“What do you have to fear?
Nothing.
Whom do you fear?
No one.
Why?
Because whoever has joined forces with God obtains three great privileges:
omnipotence without power,
intoxication without wine
and life without death.” (St. Francis of Assisi)

What are you fearing my child?  Of what are you afraid?
Do you know there is no reason to fear, that God will come to your aid?
Joined to the Lord, you are strong.  What joy are you looking for?
No wine on earth could ever match the intoxication of our Lord.

What are you fearing my child?  Are you fearing death or strife?
You joined forces with the Lord; through death you will find new life.
What are you fearing my child?  Of nothing should you now fear.
For the Lord with whom you’ve joined forces, stands beside you, is ever near.

What are you fearing my child?  Are you fearing for those who are lost?
Give all to God Who has given you all.  Stop not to count the cost.
Give to Him all of your sorrows, your worries and deepest grief.
Give to Him each of your torments and you will find sweet relief.

Have no fear my little one.  The Lord stands by your side,
Ready to bravely defend you.  If in Him, you simply abide.
Remain in the Lords’ mighty army.  Let it be Him alone you adore.
There is nothing and no one to fear, in the army of the Lord.

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.
From it flows the unity which heals us of all strife.
For through the Holy Eucharist, which means in truth Thanksgiving,
God unites us on a path to pure and holy living.

Let us receive Him worthily; through confession He forgives,
That we be not defiled or commit a sacrilege.
One dresses in clean garments when at a wedding feast.
Our Lord deserves the best from us and not our very least.

In Most Holy Communion, we receive You, precious Lord.
You give to us Your very self, O God Who we adore.
And through this precious bit of bread which has been consecrated,
We become more like You in Whose image we’re created.

Send Your Holy Spirit, Lord, to rest on all our souls.
May receiving Jesus worthily be the first of all our goals.
Give to us the wisdom to see the cause of our disunion:
Your body is badly bloodied by sacrilegious Communions.

May confession wash from our souls all grime and dirt and mud.
May peace be found with one another through Your Body, Soul and Blood.
Lord Jesus, there are many who do not believe You’re there.
Find a way to show them, Lord, just how much You care.

Help all along the path of truth to find the way to You.
Bring all to confession and to pure living too.
With You may we now unite, as our first common bond.
You call all to Communion   Help us all to respond.

There is no rest outside You, Lord; in You is our true peace.
Only through the Eucharist will our divisions cease.
Be our teacher, Jesus, instruct us on our way.
Through the Holy Eucharist, unite all in truth today.

Where there is no love, pour love in, and you will draw love out. (St. John of the Cross)

How do we love, Lord Jesus?
Can you please show us if you may?
How do we love our loved ones,
Who have wandered so far away?

How do we love them, Lord Jesus?
What words are there left to say?
How do we love those who fled the faith?
By whom we at times feel betrayed?

How do we love, Lord Jesus?
When love’s vessel seems empty and bare.
Can you show us the way to true love?
Will you stay by our side?  Lead us there?

Show us the way, Lord Jesus,
To pour love into anger and doubt.
If You show us just how to do this,
One day we may draw love out.

Show us how to pour patience in,
To endure each trial through and through.
Show us the way to trust in You.
To trust You with our loved ones too.

Show us the way to love, Jesus.
This cannot be done on our own.
Show us how to bring love to them.
In love, bring those we love home.

Let us not trust each Spirit; but put each Spirit to the test.
To see which ones belong to God, which ones by God are blessed.
False prophets come.  And they go into the world with revel.
They have no Spirit of the Lord, but the spirit of the devil.

The Spirit which denies that Christ has come, and for us has died,
Is the spirit of the evil one, the spirit which has lied.
God’s Spirit is the one, which proclaims that Christ is Lord,
That all of His commands, should be followed and adored.

If we can keep Christ’s commands, do what pleases Him,
We will receive what we ask.  True love will not grow dim,
God is pleased, when in His son, we truly believe,
when we love each soul in truth, when we love, and not deceive.

If we can but remain in God, God will in us remain.
Through our trials and our troubles, and all of our pain.
Lord, give to us discernment, to know wrong from right.
May we live Your command to love, as for truth we fight.

Loved ones have lost their compass, lost their moral way;
So many lured away from You, by evil led astray,
Help loved ones to see Your truth, love each of Your commands,
Give to them true wisdom, in this confusing land.

Help those we love show others, a love that’s good and pure.
Lord Jesus, may You be the One, they follow and adore.

Dear Mother of Jesus, and our Mother too,
we turn to you now, in this year that is new.
We pray to you daily, and offer you all,
Especially on this day your Solemnity falls.

As you brought us hope, through the birth of our Savior
Bring us His love.  Grant us this favor.
May this be the year that right from the start
We see the triumph of your Immaculate Heart.

Lead us to your Son.  To our sins, let us die.
Crush satan now with grace from on high.
Free us from distractions, free us from diversions,
Free us and our loved ones.  Bring forth conversions.

As you brought Christ to all, at the time of His birth.
Bring forth in our loved ones, their true value and worth.
May peace at last reign, in our hearts and on earth.
May our hearts be for Christ, a warm place of berth.

Pray for us, turn towards us with your gentle nod
On your Solemnity, dear Mother of God.
Bring forth your Son, for all to see,
That the Truth of Christ, may set us all free.
