Jesus, tired from His journey, sat down at Jacob’s well.
And from there a story would unfold, of which the scriptures tell.
A woman from Samaria, arrived about the time of noon.
Perhaps our Lord waited for her, knew she would be coming soon.
He asked this woman from the well, to give Him a drink.
She couldn’t do this right away. She had to stop and think.
She pondered this, and seemed to be a little bit confused,
For Jews, with Samarians, nothing in common, ever used.
Christ said, if she knew Who He was; if the gift of God, she knew,
She would have asked for, and been given, living water too.
She saw He had no bucket. She saw the cistern deep.
She pondered where to get this water. She made that mental leap.
To those who drink this living water, quenched thirst it would bring.
This water for eternal life, would be a living water spring,
The woman asked for living water, so of thirst she’d have no more.
She didn’t want to keep returning, and more water have to draw.
Jesus told her she should call her husband and come back.
She told him that a husband, was something which she lacked.
He told her she was right in saying that a husband she had none.
He said she’d had five husbands, and the current man, wasn’t one.
She spoke of the Messiah’s coming, this much it seems she knew.
Jesus then informed her: “I am He,” Who speaks now to you.
At that she left her jar, left for town, saying come and see,
“…a man who told me everything I’ve done.” Is this the Christ? Now could this be?
And many people in the town, would soon in faith believe.
Because of what they’d heard, because of what, from Christ, they had received.
Lord, go to thirsty loved ones, and to them do tell,
of Your living water springs, as You told the woman at the well.
Let them know, Who You are, the reason why You came.
That knowing all that they have done You love them just the same.
Give to them a new hope, a new desire too,
To abandon their confusion and find new life in You.
Then send them into town, to bring back to You their friends.
To learn of You, of Your hope, eternal life that never ends.
May they use the internet and every type of twitter,
To become Your advocate, evangelical transmitters,
Of all that You will for souls, and want souls to do.
Let them know how much You love them. May the Holy Ghost,
Help them now have holy chats, make only holy posts.
May all drink Your living water, and Your living Word obey,
May all souls return to You, Your steadfast love today.

JESUS, FIGHT FOR US!
“Jesus, source of my life, sanctify me.
O my strength, fortify me.
My commander, fight for me.”
(Saint Faustina)
Jesus, source of our life,
Be our sanctification.
Jesus, source of our strength,
Be our fortification.
Dear Lord, our Commander,
Go to war for us, now fight!
Jesus, our just defender,
Defend us through day and night.
Shots are firing. War is waging.
We so need Your defense.
May all find peace in Your truth.
Grant each soul a truthful sense.
Defend loved ones, Jesus,
While there is still light of day.
Defend them now, dear Jesus.
Show them the righteous way.
Bring them truth, merciful Jesus.
Bring truth to them all day long.
May their hearts know, by Your grace,
Your love for them is strong.
Fly now to loved ones, Jesus,
Be now their bold Commander.
May they lay down their worldly arms.
To Your will, may they surrender.
Amen +

WISDOM ANEW
Do not abandon yourself to despair. We are an Easter people, and hallelujah is our song.
(Pope John Paul II)
Christ is alive! This truth we believe
His love we can now freely receive.
He has come with the promise of new life for each one.
Hallelujah’s the song which we sing and have sung.
Dear Father, we beg You for more of Your grace,
That in strength we persist, in running this race.
In Your mercy, grant loved ones, wisdom anew.
Give to them new life, found only in You.
Give to them strength; and give to them hope.
Give to them patience, and graces to cope.
A new joy and peace, grant each son and daughter.
Give to all fresh springs of living water.
Help us to flee, from all doubt, all despair.
Merciful Father, please hear and answer our Easter prayer.

INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMEND MY SPIRIT
Into your hands I commend my spirit, is what Christ Himself had cried,
It’s last thing that He said, right before He died.
As we hang upon our cross in life, when too great seem the demands
May we cry out to the Father, I commend my spirit into Your hands.
When events in this world, we can no longer understand.
When we are feeling somewhat sad, and life seems less than grand,
When shattered dreams lay all around us, we feel like sojourners, in some foreign land,
With Christ we can cry out, I commend my spirit into Your hands.
When life is going haywire, not at all like we had planned;
When the enemy encircles us, and we feel quite outmanned.
When we doubt our strength to carry on, have not the legs to stand,
May we call to the Father, I commend my spirit into Your hands.
As we call out to You Father, as You hear our embattled cry,
May we give all we have to You, may we to ourselves then die.
In dying to ourselves, we enjoin our crucifixion,
May this death to self, lead us to a glory resurrection.
May each tear which now is shed, each dark night lived as black as pitch.
Be the hoe which tills the soil, the nutrient which makes it rich.
And one day yet to come, at one of our tomorrows,
May flowers bloom from today’s grief. May life spring forth from sorrow.
This brutal winter, all is barren. But flowers bloom whence comes the spring.
May our springtime of flowers, one day conversions bring.
May loved ones feeling crucified, call upon the Father too,
I commend my spirit into Your hands, I give everything to You.
From all this suffering and sorrow, dear Lord, in Your mercy bring,
Fields full of conversions, in us all, whence comes the spring.

FEAR OF THE LORD IS WHERE WISDOM STARTS
Dear Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ,
May we become true leaven to a Church now torn with strife.
May we walk with kindness, utter not a word untoward.
As in one united voice we cry: “Blessed are those who fear the Lord.”
Blessed are those who walk in Your ways,
who seek to honor You all of their days;
May our words now ring out, in one holy accord,
“Blessed are those who fear the Lord.”
For fear of the Lord is where wisdom starts;
and wisdom is what we’ve ignored.
Let us unite, and all do our part, saying:
“Blessed are those who fear the Lord.”
May the hearts of our loved ones, burn with Christ’s light,
a light that no more will grow dim,
May our loved ones now seek, to do what is right,
with a most holy fear of Him.
May the faith of our loved ones grow stronger each day,
may their love for the Lord be restored.
May they hasten to say, while at work or at play,
“Blessed are those who fear the Lord.”
