“Now help me, who am alone and have no one but You, O LORD, God.”
(Esther 12:14)

Queen Esther, seized with mortal anguish,
Had recourse to the LORD.
She along with handmaids,
Lay prostrate, and Him adored.

From morning until evening,
The LORD God, they blessed.
Queen Esther had no help but God,
To this she had confessed.

From the books of her forefathers,
She had heard and believed,
The LORD frees those who please Him,
His help she would receive.

Like Esther, we pray fervently,
Grant us, LORD, persuasive words,
To turn every heart toward truth,
The truth, from You, we’ve heard.

From sorrow, bring us wholeness.
From mourning, make us glad.
Deliver loved ones from deception,
That they no more need be sad.

May loved ones find true joy in You.
Embrace Your holy gifts.
Free each loved one from the enemy.
Do mend every rift.
