“The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom should I fear?  The LORD is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid?” (Psalm 27)

LORD, You are our refuge.
And You are our light.
You keep us safe through all our days,
And through all our nights.

When evildoers wage attack,
Seek our flesh to devour,
You are our life’s refuge, LORD,
Through every passing hour.

Our enemies will stumble.
Foes fall when they draw near.
They have encamped around us.
Yet our hearts have no fear.

They may wage war upon us,
But You, O LORD, are just.
Your bounty awaits us.
In You we place our trust.

With courage, LORD, we wait for You.
For You know our plight.
Be now our salvation,
Be, on life’s path, our light.

Teach to us Your ways, O LORD.
We seek the face of Thee.
To You, O LORD, we’re crying out.
Hear now, O LORD, our plea.

It’s through You that we are saved.
To Your truth and will we hasten.
You are the stronghold of our lives.
You are our salvation.
