What can separate us from You, our loving gracious LORD?
Will anguish, famine or distress? Will peril or the sword?
In all these things we conquer, through You who loves us so.
Your love will never leave us. This we’ve come to know.
Death cannot separate us. Nor can this life, it’s true.
No power can divide us, so loved are we by you.
No height, no depth, no creature, can keep us from You LORD.
You are our Creator. The One Whom we adore.
Lord, loved ones have fallen, and seem to no more know,
Your love is always with them, no matter where they go.
Show them now dear Lord, just how much it’s true,
Nothing can keep them from the love that’s offered them by You.
Open up their eyes Lord. Help them now to see.
You Yourself have died for them, that they might be set free,
Free at last to follow, free to do Your will,
Free to trudge the rough but joyful road which guides the soul uphill,
Free to know their dignity, each one as your beloved child,
Free in true humility, to be meek and ever-mild.
Shower love upon them LORD, grace on them bestow.
Grant that they might at last feel Your love, and Your love come to know.
Open up their hearts LORD, that they might love You through and through.
May each one return to the Church. May our loved ones return to You.
