Help us, Lord Jesus, to make for ourselves a spiritual home where we flee,
A home that’s filled with peace and joy, a home ever close to Thee.
Help us, Lord Jesus, construct for ourselves, a home where all is pure.
Where kindness cannot be stolen, where in Your love we are secure.

Help us, Lord Jesus, to make for ourselves, a home where truth lives and shines.
A spiritual home where lies dare not go, wherein dwells only what’s Thine.
And help our loved ones to fashion themselves, a home where You’re free to enter
A spiritual home that’s pleasing to Thee, a home where You live as the center.

Give us the tools to build these homes on a rock-solid foundation.
Built by Your Word, and by what’s holy; May our homes be a place for oblation.
And once they are built, may we carry our homes, to everyone we meet.
May we carry our homes wherever we go, that Your truth reach each soul we greet.

And may it protect us and shelter us from hail and ice and storm.
May it shelter us from all turbulence.  In our homes may we be transformed
Into Your image of goodness and truth, into Your image of love,
Into Your image of kindness and joy, with grace You send down from above.

May we rest secure in our spiritual homes. May our homes keep all evil at bay.
Help us to build our spiritual homes that we may have a new home in heaven one day.
