Teach us, Lord, do teach us how,
To be holy, as art Thou.
Teach us, Lord, to seek to serve,
To serve Thee Lord, as Thou deserve.
Teach us, Lord, just how to give,
Count not the cost; to in You live.
Teach us, Lord, to battle on,
When hope is fading or seems gone.
Teach us, Lord, to work for Thee,
Never give up, though tire we.
Teach us Lord, to look this day,
Not for reward or earthly pay,
But for the peace of hearts made still,
Just knowing that we do Thy will.
