Lord, we are so anxious.
So often we fret.
We fall into such worry that
Your will we forget.

May we sit beside You.
May we listen to You speak.
May we hear what You say,
That we may not grow weak.

May those we love, Lord Jesus,
Sit and listen too
To all the things You have to say
And would like them to do.

We need only You, Lord.
Mary chose the better part.
Pour wisdom now into our minds.
Pour Your love into our hearts.

St Martha, whose feast we celebrate today, pray for us.
