Follow the saints because those who follow them will become saints.

As we journey this life, Lord Jesus.
With eyes fixed on Your loving heart,
May the saints be the ones we follow.
May we follow them from the start.

The saints lived lives of virtue,
Seeking to please You first.
The saints sought to lead others to You.
These souls for whom You so thirst.

The saints left the world behind them.
To travel a road barren and dry.
With heads lifted up to the heavens.
And eyes lifted up to the skies.

Let us lift our heads to the heavens,
With the saints, lift our eyes to the skies.
Let us leave behind all worldly sins,
Though the road traveled seem barren and dry.

We pray for sons and daughters, Lord.
For those whose way seems so lost.
Go to them, Lord, and save them.
Bring them back.  Count not the cost.

Help us to suffer well, Jesus,
Help us suffer without complaint.
May we be pleasing in Your loving eyes.
Transform us from sinners to saints.
