“And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world…” John 17:11)

Jesus, the hour has arrived,
The hour now has come.
You ascend to the Father,
As God’s beloved Son.

We belong to You, Lord Jesus.
We are sheep of Your flock.
We know the Words You’ve spoken,
Cling to Your Word as rock.

Our loved ones too, Lord Jesus,
Belong to You as sheep,
Perhaps as sheep who wandered,
Or have fallen asleep.

Wake them now, Lord Jesus,
Wake them to truth of You.
May the Father send the Holy Spirit,
That each loved one be renewed.

Renew each loved one who has strayed,
Each loved one who has wandered,
Reveal to them Your glory,
The truth of what they’ve squandered.

They are Your sheep, Lord Jesus.
As Shepherd go to them.
May our loved ones now at Your truth,
Exclaim with joy “Amen.”
