“Consecrate them in the truth.”  John 17: 17

We belong not to this world, Lord.
By You alone are we perfected.
We belong to You, Lord.
From the world, keep us protected.

We consecrate ourselves to You, Lord.
To You and to Your will.
We consecrate ourselves in truth—
With peaceful hearts made still.

Inspire those we love, Lord.
To consecrate their lives too,
To consecrate themselves in truth,
Set their lives apart for You.

Help them flee the world, Lord.
To the world, they don’t belong.
Help them find true lasting joy.
In You, may they grow strong.

May we all love the truth, Lord.
And love the truth of You.
We give to You our broken lives.
Restore now our lives anew.
