DEAR LADY OF FATIMA

At Fatima we were asked to sacrifice for others,

This request to save souls came from our Blessed Mother.

If we make sacrifices, pray for sinners as she asked,

If we embrace her daily rosary and her devotional tasks,

If we seek to love God with all our hearts and minds and souls,

If we place our lives in His hands; give to Him control,

If we perform works of mercy, and offer mercy too,

If we humbly ask the Lord to work through everything we do,

If we turn to Mother Mary, beg her prayerful intercession,

If we repent of all our sins, at first-Saturday confession.

If we give to God our suffering, all the ways that we’ve been hurt,

If we pray that by the grace of God, Russia will convert.

If we offer God our heartfelt love, and hopes now dead or lost,

If we give to Christ our sorrows, unite them with His cross,

If before the Lord we seek to be quiet and be still,

If we try to see Him in all souls, seek to do His Holy will.

If we lift our hearts to heaven, pray for souls who’ve strayed,

Can’t we have faith He’ll hear our pleas that loved ones might be saved?

If we pray can’t we believe that one day they’ll be whole?

That our dear Lord will hear our prayers, have mercy on their souls?

The heavens may be waging war.  There may be a brutal fight.

But the Lord can take our loved ones out of darkness into light.

Dear Lady, at Fatima, God worked the miracle of the Sun.

Beg God for His mercy, that His perfect will be done.

Our Lady of Fatima, make haste, do not delay,

Our Lady of Fatima, for us, make haste, do pray.

THE WAY TO HEALING OF THE SOUL

Jesus came to a town.  The town was known as Nain.

His disciples and a large crowd, journeyed there, the same.

As He drew near the city gate, a dead man was carried through.

This man’s mother was a widow.  He was the only son she knew.

The widow had been crying, at the gate of the city,

But Jesus told her not to weep.  His heart was moved with pity.

He stepped forward, touched the coffin.  At this the bearers stopped.

Jesus told the son Arise! All must have been in shock.

For the dead son had sat up.  And he began to speak.

God Himself had visited. Now things no more seemed bleak.

Through Judea to surrounding regions, reports of this would spread.

This once dead son was now alive.  Christ raised him from the dead.

Lord, our loved ones may be breathing.  In body they’re alive.

But their souls have been attacked.  Their souls no longer thrive.

Go to them now, dear Jesus.  Bring dead spirits back to life.

Heal them of every error, in this world immersed in death and strife.

Go to them now Lord Jesus.  Go now without delay.

Heal them with Your truth and love.  To truth, point out the way.

Open up their hearts, dear Lord, that they may clearly see,

The way to healing of the soul is through new life in Thee.

SEND NOW THE HOLY SPIRIT!

“…The Advocate, the Holy Spirit Whom the Father will send in my name—He will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.”  [John 14:26]

Father in heaven, we beg You, send to each one now,
The Holy Spirit’s peace, send to us His power.
Send Him with His wisdom, send Him with His love,
Send Him now to all of us, with grace from above.

He will teach us everything, all that we’ve been told,
In the Sacred Scriptures, in days gone by of old.
Father, we ask You now, in the name of Christ, Your Son,
Send us Your Holy Spirit, that well heaven’s race we run.

Send the Holy Spirit, Father, to those whom we love too.
Send to them true wisdom, that Your will they may do.
We ask this of You, Father; for it’s your will we adore.
We turn to You, our Father, In the name of Christ, our loving Lord.

We need You, Holy Spirit.  To guide us on our way.
Our loved ones need You too, that no more may they stray.
We beg you, loving Father, in the name of Christ, Your Son,
Send now Your Holy Spirit, that Your will on earth be done.

LET US BE CONSECRATED IN THE TRUTH

Jesus, You are one with the Father. May we be one with You.

You have given us Your Eucharist, that we be united too.

May we share in Your joy with Your joy in us complete.

You have given us Your holy word, that we not know defeat.

You call us out of the world, O Lord.  For us, this is Your will.

Protect us from the evil one, who seeks to destroy and kill.

Your word is truth.  In the truth may we now be consecrated.

May we live by Your laws, though by the world we’re hated.

As we consecrate ourselves in truth, also consecrate now too,

All our sons and daughters.  Draw each one in truth to You.

Protect them from the evil one, who plots their destruction.

Help them find hope and faith, in Your resurrection.

Go to them now dear Jesus.  Fill them with the truth,

Which they abandoned years ago, in past days of their youth.

Consecrate them in the truth.  From harm, keep them protected.

May truth now fill each fallen soul, in truth be they resurrected.

POUR DIVINE TRUTHS IN OUR MINDS

“Who teaches the soul if not God?”

(St. John of the Cross)

Who will be our good teacher?

Who best knows what we ought do?

Who teaches our souls truths divine?

Who will teach us if that be not You?

Take us up to Your classroom,

The steep and the steady climb.

Teach us the lessons we need to learn.

Pour divine truths in our minds.

Fill us with deep understanding.

Fill us with Your wisdom too.

Show us how to think clearly.

Show us what we ought do.

Come sit by our side, dear Jesus,

Help us hear all that You say,

Grant us the grace to understand,

That we follow along Your way.

Dear Jesus, just as You teach us,

Teach each of our loved ones today.

Give them lessons in living.

No more may they go astray.

Make us good students, Lord Jesus.

With grace to learn all of Your lessons.

Lord, You are our good Teacher.

Let Your class in our lives be in session.
