LET US MAKE OUR WAY TO HEAVEN

Do not let your hearts be troubled.  That’s what Jesus said,

To His disciples not long after He had risen from the dead.

We must have faith in Him, as we run in life’s races,

For in His Father’s house, there are many dwelling places.

He would prepare a place for us.  That’s what Jesus had to say.

He’d take us to Himself.  He would come back one day.

He wanted us to know, and He wanted us to see.

That He would be in heaven.  By believing, so would we.

To Thomas the disciple, the way to heaven was not plain.

How to get where Christ was going, Christ needed to explain:

Christ Himself is the way, He is the truth and life.

The way to the Father, is through Jesus Christ.

Let us journey toward the Father, through the way which Jesus walked:

When our Lord shows to us the way, may we no longer balk.

Let us follow in His footsteps, and how He lived His life.

That one day we’ll find glory in a land that’s void of strife.

Dear Jesus let our loved ones, find their way back to You.

May they see You as the path, to a glory life anew.

May they make their way to heaven, though the road be barren dry.

May they no longer question.  To themselves may they now die.

YOUR LOVE IS THE ANSWER

“Why is my pain continuous, my wound incurable, refusing to be healed?”  (Jer. 15:18)

Lord, at times this heavy cross
can seem too much to bear.
It goes on and on.
Yet, we know that You are there.

Free us from this misery.
Show to us the way,
May Your love and peace shine in us,
Today and every day.

Your love is the answer.
Though we are in pain.
We will find sweet relief,
If in You we remain.

May we find new life in truth,
And find new life in You.
May we stay with You not just today,
but all of our lives through.

GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER

God loves a cheerful giver.  (2 Cor 9:7)

Lord, if we sow sparingly, then sparingly we will reap.

Let our sowing be bountiful, lest we have cause to weep.

With hope and faith in You, Lord, may we cheerfully give.

Since You love a cheerful giver.  Cheerfully, may we live.

Let us sow seeds of righteousness—let righteousness abound.

Increase Your harvest now in us.  Let faith in us be found.

Thank You for all You’ve given us.  Keep us ever thankful.

Keep us ever close to You, with spirits ever tranquil.

Bless our loved ones too, dear Lord.  Grant them pure hearts anew.

May they sow seeds of righteousness, forever trust in You.

Help loved ones to give cheerfully.  Let true love be given to them.

Help them to spread the Truth, Lord.  To Your Truth, say “Amen.”

Go to them now, dear Jesus.  A good harvest may they reap.

Help them to scatter seeds of faith.  Grant them a faith that’s deep.

Be the light upon their journey.   Be the light which guides their way.

In truth, bring them back to You. Bring them back to You today.

LET TRUTH TAKE US TO HEAVEN

“…the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)

I have my truth.  You have Yours.

That’s what some people say.

By truth no more can we agree,

Truth has been quelled today.

As if we could design the truth;

As if truth we control,

As if we had the power

which truth to extol.

As we journey through our lives,

It helps us to know,

That much of what is said as truth,

Is just an empty show.

You will know the truth,

for in truth You will be,

Not enslaved, or bound by chains,

But by truth set free.

Truth is the way to guide us.

Truth is for us a leaven.

Lead us all, Lord, to the truth,

Let truth take us to heaven.
