 Lord, help us to let be, what should not be our concern.
Guide us along the holy path, the path we ought not spurn.
The path by which You have willed, life’s painful lessons we may learn,
Show us the path You will we walk.  Help us our path discern.

All do not walk by the same path, nor endure the same trials.
We all travel by different roads, though most travel many miles.
Show to loved ones, gracious Lord, the path for them that’s best.
Show to loved ones, gracious Lord, the path that’s theirs and blessed.

Lead them along the holy path, though sorrow they may know.
Through mercy lead them home to You. Grant us grace to let them go.
