“HE MUST INCREASE; I MUST DECREASE”

Lord, come dwell within our hearts.
Come and dwell herein.
Make our hearts like unto thine.
Free us from all sin.

Increase in us Your virtues.
Increase in us Your peace.
Increase in us Your patience.
May our old selves decrease.

Increase in loved ones Jesus,
The truth for which they’re made.
Increase in them Your goodness,
Let bad habits ebb and fade.

Increase authentic kindness.
Let love of sin decrease.
May all proclaim with John the Baptist:
“He must increase; I must decrease.”
